The Four Courts

50 YEARS LATER SALLINS CASE STILL IN COURT

Osgur Breatnach’s historic application for a Miscarriage of Justice Certificate has been delayed once again because no Defence has been lodged by the Director of Public Prosecutions (DPP). This prevents a date for a full hearing being set until a Response is filed by the DPP.

This is Breatnach’s third appearance in court since the controversial 57 Article affidavit was lodged with the Court in July 2023.

SECRET DEALS with HEAVY GANG MEMBERS      HOLDING UP JUSTICE

The DPP blame the Chief State Solicitors for not releaseing Osgur Breatnach’s civil action file to them to enable them to decide their  Defence Response.

Meanwhile, the court  states the DPP is entitled to the file. But the CSS claim GDPR confidentiality issues.

Breatnach has agreed to release his file on condition he also gets a copy of the file.

But now the CSS has responded that they intend holding back confidential information relating to other third parties (presumably members of the Heavy Gang who were being sued by Breatnach).

The case, under Section 9 of the Criminal Procedure Act 1993, is before the High Court for mention again on February 13th.
